Fager Emil is the ideal choice if you would describe your horse as the following;

Emil is a durable and lightweight, double-jointed Titanium Snaffle. The design is simple, unique and designed with the horse’s ultimate comfort in mind.  The whole of the bit surface, including the joints is 100% smooth allowing complete fluidity and freedom in the mouth.

The joints are specifically designed to never interfere or push against the palate, making Emil an extremely comfortable bit.  The mouthpiece naturally conforms to the shape of the tongue whilst relieving the bars from constant pressure.  Emil is the perfect solution for sensitive horses who easily cut or bruise in the mouth.

The lightweight, straight design helps to promote more precise and direct communication down the reins.

Emil is constructed using Fager’s Anoblast™ manufacturing technique which produces a high quality, extremely durable bit; the  highest quality Titanium bit on the market today! The grey colour is a natural consequence of the production process, no additional colouring is used.

At Fager we design our bits to always sit horizontally straight, there is never a bigger bend forward. The reasoning behind this is to ensure that the bit maintains the correct balance point (BP) in the mouth, creating stability and clear communication for the horse.  When a bit creates a bigger bend forward, it also moves the BP forward, detrimentally reducing the effectiveness of the aids

This design is the ideal solution for sensitive horses who easily develop sores and cuts as it protects the bars and the flesh of the mouth.

IMPORTANT: The balance point will remain, even if it has a slight bend over the tongue; upwards. 

Fager’s designs are always straight horizontally = Never has a bigger bend forward.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?
Packages should be received within 7 business days from dispatch. A shipping confirmation email will be sent when your order leaves our shop.Please note: Fridays, weekends, national / state/ region public holidays and peak periods may affect dispatch and shipping times.Due to recent Covid-19 circumstances, you may be experiencing delays due to overwhelming volumes. We apologise for any inconvenience these delays may cause and thank you for your continued patience
CAN WE PICK UP OUR ITEM IN STORE? Yes! You are absolutely welcome to come to our equestrian center via appointment to pick up your ordered item. 
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALY? At this stage we are only shipping throughout New Zealand, we apologise for any inconvinience caused.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO SHIP MY ORDER?
All our shippment prices are based on weight of the product are are calculated automatically at checkout. Orders of $250 or more qualify for free shipping.Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Item(s) purchased can be returned for a full refund providing our return Terms and conditions noted below are met.
Please note Equestrian Bits & Fits does not accept refunds for change of mind on clearance or sale items.

Returns are warranted within 14 days from purchase date for unused and products not tried on the horse. All packaging and tags must be in place.

Bits: If there is signs of the bit being in the horses mouth; frosted, bite marks, teeth marks, signs of the bit being washed, tags removed - your return will be rejected and returned to sender. No returns on seconds, sale or demo stock.

Clothing: items to be in new condition with tags affixed. 

 

Late Returns

If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, then unfortunately we can’t offer you a return or exchange. Our returns policy is firm, no returns will be accepted after 14 days from invoice date. 

 

What happens if I have tried on my bit and it is the wrong size?

In the scenario, that you have used the bit, we are unable to accept a return. Each bit is sent out with a tag advising, if removed then the item is ineligible for return. Please seek advice from your local bit fitter or please call us for assistance prior to ordering.

 

Cost of Return Postage on Exchanges

When returning or exchanging bits, customer pays for return postage. No refunds on initial postage costs. 

 

Repeat Returns

If you are unsure on what size bit to buy or do not know where to start, contact us or consider buying a bit measure first. We are available to help you find the right product. We do keep track of repeat returns and do hold the discretion to monitor repeat returns. 

 

I have been sent the wrong product or size

In the scenario that the wrong item has been sent to you, contact us, we will send the correct product out and return postage will also be paid.
